  • Well, Gravel and Kucinich are both Dems, and I belive Internet users in general swing left, no? Though you'd think more people would get Hilary and Obama...

FWIW, I got John Cox, but Gravel and Kucinich came in 2nd and 3rd.
  • i got kucinich. (i think the reason a lot of us are getting kucinich is that he is the ONLY candidate that favors gay marriage, and likely most of us do as well.)

i'm assuming they're basing results on what our wish list is, as opposed to what we will accept. personally, i'd vote for richard nixon before i voted for a republican. and he's dead
  • I got DK (85.19%) with a 2nd place tie between Obama and Edwards (77.78%) with Hillary in 3rd (74.07%). Interesting, since I'm mostly but not completly across the board in my support of the Dems' platform. Obama's my guy, though.

I found the quiz on Reddit, which like Digg, throws zillions of hits at a site in a short period of time. And most reddit users seem to be quite left-leaning. I'll bet most of those votes are from Reddit or Digg, if it was posted there as well.
  • I got Kucinich, Gravel and Hillary. Obama, my top pick, isn't even in the top 3!
  • I had Kucinich, Biden, Edwards and Clinton.

A good grouping. I approve. Of course poor Kucinich would never get elected.
  • I got Gravel at 97%+, then a long way down to Kucinich in the 50s. Smart guy, this Gravel; shame about the image problem, and the fact that he's 77.
  • I got Gravel , Kucinich and Thompson.

I don't even know who the hell they are.

A good guess, though I also support gay marriage and marked the issue as very important to me. But I'm of a more libertarian bent, and Cox is a businessman, so that probably explains the match in my case.

But Nixon was a Republican. Doesn't that make him doubly bad in your book? :-s
  • i think i should have clarified that i'd choose him over these republicans.

i think this shows my age; there was a lot of "last one to the playground is a nixon lover" type comments on my elementary school playground.
  • I got Kucinich, followed by Gravel, Biden, and Edwards.

Gravel's kind of awesome, in a completely unelectable but fun crazy Grandpa sort of way. You should go watch the clips of him at the HRC/Logo forum a few weeks back:

Kucinich was pretty adorkable in it. He's like a little magical gnome.
  • I got Kucinich with Hillary Clinton a distant second, with Obama down there in the pack.

But other things come into play, such as concerns about character and experience. There are things about Clinton that I find suspect and I worry that Obama may be too green. I actually don't have any problem with Kucinich except for the fact that he is probably unelectable, but that's out of my hands.

My dad, though, is totally for Obama. "Oh, he can learn on the job! He's a Harvard man!" And Daddy's got to vote for the Harvard man.

Clearly, he doesn't remember my first boyfriend in college, who, while he was also a Harvard man, was an idiot who couldn't write his way out of a paper bag. He would never have made it through his first year of law school if I hadn't written his papers for him. (And I did it for Blizzerts which shows how clever I was!)
