i'm thinking of joining Slope Health & Fitness on Union & 7th Ave. what's been your experience? is there an initiation fee? and what are the monthly payments? Thanks

I tried to call and get their pricing and the guy over the phone said that he couldn't give out prices. I'd have to speak to one of the sales guys. Of course none were around so I left my information and nobody ever got back to me. Anyways. I'm going to go to Body Reserve. I know they're cheap.

I believe it's in the neighborhood of 100$ initiation fee, and then somewhere between 70-80$ per month. A yearly membership is in the neighborhood of 650$.

I joined over 3 years ago when I moved to the neighborhood. I understand prices have gone up--I pay under $70 a month. I like it. They keep the equipment up to date and I've seen constant renovation to keep things looking spiffy, it's clean, good hours, not too crowded. I don't take classes but I know there's a good selection.
