Anyone know when we're supposed to get wired for it?

I'd like to know the same thing and to hear from somebody who actually has seen it working.
Every time I check my address it just says it's not available -
Not for a while. Though they're well advanced in wiring the more suburban and well-off sections of Staten Island and Queens that have pole-based wiring.
Verizon has a lot of wiring to do. Fiber takes time and is expensive in a city full of old and new underground conduits full of copper phone lines.
They also have to get a franchise from the city for their cable tv service. -
The new buildings at HELLO n Pacific street have it.
