Need a restaurant recomendation

My parents are gonna visit monday so I need a place to take em for dinner. I don't go out to many restaurants so I need some advice. Looking for a reasonably priced place with a couple good seafood dishes. Not an Asian style place either. Any suggestions?

    I know opinions differ on this place, but I like to take people to Rosewater on Union. I've even taken my parents, and they loved it. It's not mainly seafood, but it always has nice choices.

    Blue Ribbon is excellent.

    5th ave and 1st street.

    A little pricey, but excellent seafood and fried chicken.

    i like Little D. on 7th avenue - always had a great scallop or fish dish there - and you can go overboard there if you choose to with more choices or stick with one entree and have a good reasonable dinner - its also a great place to be able to talk to your company - unlike a lot of other noisy places in park slope.

    salt and sugar saturated food is not my idea of a good meal, not really into hand cramps from trying to feed myself with wooden sticks either

    I know plenty, lets see...
    There are broadspectrum antibiotics in some of the seafood cause the farming conditions are so unsanitary. Potential cases of viral pandemics for the same reason.
    Rover and whiskers can make a great meal.
    As well as insects, reptiles, rodents, and birds' nests. A "delicacy" from what I hear.
    And the high salt, sugar, and calorie counts.

    Keep your racist comments to yourself.

    high salt high sugar is also in all cultures too!!! last time i check white people ate fish eggs, gators, casu marzu, horse meat, prairie oysters, long pork, chocolate cover insects, and i could come up with the same list as you did. stop being so uninformed.

    also you think they only have these antibiotics in asian restaurants seafood??? lol they come from the same source as white restaurants.

    i was clearly joking around about white people cant make right seafood and vegs. cause you stated no asian joints for recommendations.

    I think you should take a space ship out of here, cause we make up a global majority. one day our genes might pollute yours :O. here in the states we make up a very mobile population. from doctors to engineers to lowly transporters as myself.

    intermarriage rates are the highest among asians and whites than any other group. run to the caves or spaceship!!

    Its eclectic latin ........menu is very small but every single dish was amazing!
    I had the Mahi Mahi and my husband had the duck and it was fantastic.
    Also Sun thru Thur they have a $25 prix fix menu thats pretty awesome.
    Just try it!
    Its fabulous!
    Im so excited to live near it! We are going again on Sat nite for our 1 year anniversary. Its a very romantic dark place. They also specialize in wines.
