Nonsensical crime of the year. — Brooklynian

Nonsensical crime of the year.

Here's a crime stat that even KWAC would love:

The other day, two men went into the Rite Aid on St. John's and robbed them of $800 worth of Monostat.

This is probably why most stores keep the stuff under lock and key, but it boggles the mind. Just what are they hoping to do with the stuff? Sell it on EBay? Fence it somewhere? They left the generic stuff on the shelves so it isn't like women in the neighborhood are going to have to get black market yeast medicine anytime soon.

Are these men hopelessly henpecked husbands? ("I DON'T CARE!!! ONLY NAMEBRAND IS GOOD ENOUGH FOR MY CROTCH!!!")

I know the stuff is expensive, but is demand that strong that it would be worth stealing? Just what do they expect to do with it?
