I need a pepperoni
Ok this is a weird question BUT
I'm going to visit my dying grandmother on thurs and she really, really loved NYC and wants me to bring her two "good pepperonis"
I have NO idea what a good pepperoni is, or where to buy one. I'm limited to places I can go after work, so nothing with wierd hours. She will never be able to come to NYC again (i'm viiting her in texas and she cant travel anymore) so it has to be good.
HELP!!! I leave Thurs and she just told me today so I'm crunched for time!

Aren't there a couple of small Italian delis on 7th too? Maybe a place like that would be good to check.

Bierkraft would be good, as would A&S Pork Store. If you're up for a subway ride, go to Di Palo's on Grand St at Mulberry, which is just about the only place left worth going to in Little Italy. You can't do better than Di Palo's .

I second Di Palo's. Great place. -
I was going to say DiPalo's as well, but I thought you needed someplace local....in which case, I'd also second Bierkraft....maybe Blue Apron.
DiPalo's is truly the best around. Try to go during off-hours if you can, because there can be a really long wait at times. -
Ah I should have been more clear- I dont even live in park slope anymore (I just know you guys are a great resource!) I was trying to find somewhere in little italy but I know everytime Im down there I cant find what I want and end up traveling anyway. I'll hit up the place on Grand and Mulberry on the way home from work tomorrow night.
Thanks guys!! -
Try Blue Apron on Union and 7th.

I feel sad for you. Watching your grandmother die is not fun. Pepperonis or not, I'm sure she'll be overjoyed to see you.
