How was Atlantic Antic this year? — Brooklynian

How was Atlantic Antic this year?

I had company and couldn't make it this year. Was it good?

  • What is Atlantic Antic?
  • it was good. lotta stuff. it got really packed toward 1pm
my dog got a massage and there were 3 other dogs waiting in line :)
  • It was crowded as usual, but good.

I got some great stuff at Brooklyn Industries (tees, hoodie). Lots of cupcakes that looked delicious (but I did not give in).

There was a stand with great denim bags, a bit overpriced for a street fair ($80-$100). It gave me the inspiration to make my own.

There was also a great start up/diy artist with hoodies and tees. Again, it was a bit much for me for a start up ($50 a piece for the hoodies). But, the sweatshirts were made using American Apparel hoodies.
  • It was fun. Lots of people, good music.
I picked up some dirt cheap jewelry at one of the street tents.
Atlantic Amber ale was delicious. So was the pernil at the church tent (too bad they didn't have salsa). And the Soul Spot mac n' cheese hit the spot.
The MTA museum show was great. I saw lots of rare old NYC buses.
All in all my favorite street fare this year.
  • damn miss it :(. was working. maybe next year i'll get to go.
  • everyone kept asking me if i was going to get a booth there, but the thought of doing so gave me a panic attack. too many people
