Put your money where your mouth is

I saw that Apartment Therapy has a "Bloggers Challenge" in conjunction with Donorschoose.org. I checked it out and there are a few posts from some teachers at PS 9. As a parent of a child who attended there I can tell you that the teachers there are extremely dedicated and really wish to make this school one of the best in the boro if not the City. They work long hours, take extra time to help the children who really need it and spend ALOT of their own money on these classrooms. There are many parents who cannot afford the extra cash to donate but they donate their skills and time which can be just as important. I hope you can find a few extra $$ to help our the children of our neighborhood. (Of course, you can search for the local school near you also.)
