Couples therapy...anywhere in the slope?

I was wondering if the there is a therapist in the slope area...i guess I am looking for a therapist. I just wanted to find someone that my spouse and I could talk to so that we can learn better communication skills with one another. Someone to walk us thru the steps of more effective communication.

I know someone in the Flatiron area who does couples counseling - Lisa Haberman, 212-242-6984. She also does divorce mediation, if the counseling doesn't help. Good luck.

Far from divorce mediation. I am sincerely looking for a way of communicating better. We have different ways and approaches and I thought it would be beneficial if we learned how to deal with our different styles. More of a precautionary measure than any really.

He is logical. I think with my heart. He can talk till the cows come home and I get flustered. I need to write things out otherwise it will come out in a jumbled mess.
