    Good for him. This Borat inspired nonsense is stupid and a waste of people's time. Just like when Borat pulled his crap on the street here in NYC, they got shut down and thrown out immediately. People need to understand that there are consequences and responses to idiocy and stupid questions/actions. Whether it is Borat telling guys he wants to have sex with their clothes on the street, some reality idiot jumping up and pumping someone on stage, or a "comedy" crew trying to ridicule a council member. Oddo is definitely out there sometimes, but he was spot on here.

    yep.... i'm totally with you on this one daver. I'm tired of the discomfort comedy where someone acts like an idiot and we are supposed to laugh at their victims. I love the expression on the interviewers face as she realizes that she chose the wrong guy to work her act on.

    So many times people say stupid and offensive shit and people are either too stunned, scared or polite to say something back.

    When I was coming home from Grand Cayman last year, a woman on the airport shuttle turned to me when a bunch of Asian people got on and said "Great. More bird flu"....expecting that I'd laugh or agree with her. I told her she was disgusting and not to assume that because we were both Americans that I'd be an idiot like she was.

    Yup, the response was entirely appropriate to the juvenile chicanery being attempted. Their "questions" didn't even have much lulz potential.

    Nah, he's a small timer. The insult to the limited dignity of his office is minimal, and his constituents will decide if it's forgivable.

    And for crying out loud, please don't lament "the dumbing down of america" while using lolcat-level punctuation and capitalization.

    This is far from the first fruity thing Oddo has done. When I lived in SI it seems like we got to be regaled with his latest exploits at least weekly, this one just happened to hit the big time.
