Subject: batting cage confirmation
yes there is a batting cage at the brooklyn lyceum.
it was present about 8 years ago before some longterm renovations began.
since the lyceum tends more towards theater than gym nowadays, the cage is usually open one weekend day and one weeknite.
dates are chosen about 10 days in advance based on theater schedule as we try not to make the operas and such suffer the sounds of the american pastime.
other than that you can contact the lyceum about hourly rentals.

p.s. we will be running the cage during some playoff games. GO SOX! -
Isn't opera the american pastime?
Hopefully, Fidelio won't disturb the batters' concentration. -

There is also the batting cages on 3rd Ave and 27th or 28th Street in Brooklyn. -
What is the name of the place on 3rd and 27th?
