Auto Body shop? Any recommendations?

I was side swiped by a Yellow Cab last weekend but the driver left the scene. So, I'm looking for a shop that won't rip me off because I'd prefer to do this out of pocket rather than through my insurance company (it's mostly paint damage).

I'm in the Clinton Hill area but I don't mind driving to a reputable shop.

We got sideswiped two weeks ago while we were parked, we never saw who did it, no note, no apology. Hate when that happens. We got the body work done at:

They did a fantastic job, and quick, we were covered under our insurance, so I don't know if the prices were good. Good luck

Very reasonable, super reliable. Ask for Saeed.

And whatever you do stay away from Vanderbilt Auto....they are the shop at the corner of Vanderbilt and Myrtle at the gas station.

The owner there is good but his staff is crap. And they treat you like crap too.

Try Errols on Willoughby and Skillman. He is an excellent mechanic and has an auto body shop also. Two seperate garages.

I've used them for the last ten years, ever since moving to Brooklyn. The offer GREAT customer service, are polite, have a nuumer of mechanics there, are steady busy and have actually done little things like changing the bulb in my tail light FOR FREE!!!

They definitely seem to value their longterm relationship with customers rather than just making a quick buck, unlike any other auto mechanics I've ever come accross...
