They've just shifted their schedule from bar/cafe (my son [age 5] grew up there) to more of a night spot. crowd very electic, with especial emphasis on people of color, gay folks, and their fellow travellers.

Monday - Renaissance Lounge - 7pm to Midnight

Tuesday - Lifted - 8pm to Midnight

Wednesday - Brilliant Corners jazz at grand - 8pm to Midnight

Thursday - DJ Shugg 8pm to Midnight

Friday - DJ Bill Brown 10pm

Saturday - DJ Bill Brown 10pm

brunch on Saturday and Sunday from 11 am

I Love, Love , Love 275 Grand!

Always a good time as they draw such a diverse crowd of local residents and are great with cusomer service (unlike Choice around the corner)....

Defintely looking forward to checking out some of their new night time activites, good thing because there is no late night spot in the hood with the intimacy and coziness of 275 Grand....

Has anyone gone in here on the weekdays? I work from home and often want to leave the house in the early evenings just to go sit somewhere, have a beer and read a book for a few hours...but I usually go alone. I sometimes trek out to billyburg or go to my fave winebar in manhattan, but if people are hanging out here its obviously closer!
