  • Indian
    Music venue
    real mexican

    :D

off the top of my head
  • Subject: !

there are mexican places and there is indian food on smith st
  • I would love to see a ramen shop open up. Also, a quality greengrocer/produce stand on Smith St., near President St. Even better would be a store like Pacific Green Gourmet.
  • I would also like to see a place with good produce.

Also, I'm feeling the lack of good pizza places off of Smith/Court Street. I'm near Bond Street/Dean and there's nowhere to just grab a slice on my way home from the subway. I'm not talking about gourmet/wood oven pizza (although that would be nice) - I just mean a regular old slice of pizza.
  • Subject: I agree with the pizza

There are none and i mean zero good pizza shops in the area to just grab a nice slice of pizza.Anyone else agree with that ?
  • there are already indian and mexican places. and layla jones has great pizza. what's missing is a vegetarian/vegan restaurant.
  • There may be Indian, but is there anything that's actually good?

There also doesn't seem to be either a good cheese shop or a hardware store.
  • ronman, I agree that there is a lack of places for a good slice. Nothing fancy, just a regular pizza place with those plastic booths and decent pizza.

Regarding cheese shops - I think Stinky Brooklyn is great. The area is not hurting for cheese.

There is a glut of Indian places. None of them are great, but they aren't terrible. Raga is ok.
