Newcomer

I recently moved to Franklin Ave. Near Atlantic on the south side. I am not new to city life in the least but am looking for any advice on how to get involved in the community, stay safe, etc. I've heard of the Crow Hill Community Association which I think I would like to get into but have had trouble contacting them. I really enjoy this neighborhood but am looking to make informed choices for me and also for my girlfriend who sticks out a bit around here. Any advice at all would be appreciated.
Thank you.

  • I hope you realize you are right by the Armory that has a homeless mens shelter - many of those guys are excons - the Bedford side usually has more activity and occassional police

The Crow Hill Community Assoc has recently been reaching out for new people, but I also did not get a response from them yet (5 days ago)

There is Community Board 8 which covers CH and PH

There is the 77th PCT Community Council - they are fairly active and effective

There are quite a few block associations although I don't know if there is one by you
  • if you are interested in Crow Hiill Community Association,
    you can email [email protected]
    or pm me

if you've reached out and not been contacted, please let me know.
