Has anybody opted for faster than standard cable internet thru TW? I can bill it back to my firm, but not sure if it's really a noticeable improvement.

    To tell the truth I never really noticed the difference between my TW 5mbps and my Verizon DSL at 3MBPS when I switched to DSL

    Subject: Extra fast internet

    I opted for the fastest possible connection from Time Warner. It was supposed to be around 50 Mbps, but I clocked it recently at 500Mbps! I can be downloading music and movies from the internet, my girlfriend working on her laptop and the 360 streaming over live all at the same time without so much as any lag. It's worth it if you ask me.

    they changed their rates again!

    I got TWC premium earlier this year (12mbps/768k). It was notceably faster than the standard service, I just needed it for the extra upload bandwidth.

    By the looks of things I've gotta call them again :(
