Good food delivery in Bed Stuy (near Hancock Nostrand)

Any recommendation for good places that deliver in Bed Stuy? Any kind of food.

    Depends on where you are. I'm between Bedford & Nostrand and have found plenty of FG and CH restaraunts deliver. Here's some of the places I call:
    1. Black Iris {Middle Eastern}
    2. Bistro Lafayette
    3. Amin {Indian}
    4. Los Pollitos {Mexican}
    5. Dakar {West African}
    6. Foccaccino {Not a fan of this one though}
    7. Jake's BBQ
    8. Myrtle Thai
    9. Thai 101
    10. Faan {Asian Fusion. They come all the way from the Slope for a sizable order, I think minimum $20.}
    11.Buff Patty {West Indian}
    And then pizzeria's and Chinese too numerous to mention.
    I used to order from Vellis and from Luz, but sadly both places have now stopped coming this far.

    Obviously I'm addicted to ordering in! Anyone have some gem I've not yet discovered?

    I don't have anything to add, guest, but that post was extremely helpful! I live on lafayette bt bedford and nostrand and im thrilled with this list. Theres lots of sushi places (sushi d, and I've heard Kiku from PS delivers this far [and they're awesome!] although I havn't tried it myself.)

    Castro's (Mexican on Myrtle in Clinton Hill) will also deliver to our neck of the woods, Boaty. Only once did they politely decline to come to our parts and it sounded like they were slammed at the time.

    Oh yes, Carmen is right about the sushi. I just don't eat it so I neglected to mention. Sushi Tatsu, Yamashiro, and Kiku all deliver. And Faan, which I mentioned, has sushi as well.
    Here's a couple more I neglected to mention. I'm not sure if they're all still open but if they are, they deliver:
    Keur N'Deye {Senegalese}
    Carol's Delite {Soul & Caribbean}
    Mi Tierra 1 {coffee shop/diner}
    Bedouin Express {Middle Eastern}
    Mojito {Cuban Cuisine}
    Eagle City Taco {what is this? mex & chinese?}
    And now that I've made a nearly complete list I may as well add the pizzerias!
    Sam's, Luigi's, Mario's, S.S. Bklyn Pizza, but the best pizza comes from Black Iris.
    Chinese:
    Master Wok, Chan Yang Garden, Yummy yummy, Hunan Wok,Golden Phoenix, Six Happy, Hing Wong, Good Choices, Jin Shing, Eagle City, New Lucky Star to name a few.
    And what about the Pratt coffee shop? Does anyone know if they deliver?

    This list must lead you to wonder if I ever cook!

    May I also add that I regret saying I'm not a fan of Focaccino. Some of you may enjoy it very much. And since my list has become widely inclusive, my personal preferences don't matter. In fact, in my 2nd post I included places I rarely or never call.
    I'm glad to have a few new places to try as this post continues. Keep it coming!

    I don't know. But they all come to Nostrand and Greene. You'd have to call and see what they say.
    I'd be surprised if black iris, amin, faan, and dakar don't. The rest we don't know until someone tries.

    I'm about to call Brooks Valley, which you posted about. Thanks for the suggestion.

    Hey, let us know if you find out if those places deliver to Hancock and Nostrand. I'm pretty close. None of those Myrtle Ave places would deliver when I moved here 2 years ago, but maybe now they do.

    So far I've tried Brooks Valley (2x) and I am very pleased - delivery was speedy and food was great. I am on Hancock & Nostrand.

    Halsey Street Grill has good food delivery in Bed-Stuy (minimum $10). The Halsey Grill is located at 260 Halsey Street near the corner of Halsey Street and Tompkins Ave. in front of the #26 bus stop. The Halsey Grill has free delivery a mile from their location.
