Queensboro Bridge kitten
I'm sure with as much attention this has gotten (I read about it on Gothamist), this kitten will have no problem finding a home -- I'm posting it for pure cuteness value.
This little guy was very lucky to have been found by a former BARC volunteer on the 59th Street Bridge, although she thwarted his attempted escape into Manhattan. She managed to catch him in an empty paint can from a pile of construction equipment. His name is Jeff Bridges.

Oof! The nose freckles! The freakin' NOSE FRECKLES, people!
The full story can be found on the BARC blog:

More photos in the Flickr set here, including a pretty funny dramatic re-enactment of his rescue:

That is some serious wide-eyed cuteness!!!

Those re-enactment pictures remind me of an ex-boyfriend and his doll Punk Boy! He bought this really cheesy doll (which came in a package labeled Punk Boy) and took it with him to Europe. Punk Boy at the Eiffel Tower, Punk Boy contemplating suicide off the Tower of London...
It was pretty hilarious, but all his pictures from his trip featured Punk Boy and the few that had him in it, well, Punk Boy was there too.
Howdy, Stranger!
