Computer Donation

Kidding- I bet the Y would take it, or boys and girls clubs! -
I tried donating an Imac a couple of years back to a library. They said that libraries would want and accept a set of identical computers/gear, but wouldn't be able to take a one-off. Seemed short-sighted at first, but I can understand why someone wouldn't want a hodgepodge computer lab whose components all have varied lifespans and support needs.

Consider donating it to a group called the Community Free Software Group. They are always looking for donations of old hardware that they use in a lab to teach kids PC repair. I've donated to them in the past-- they are an awesome group.
Heres their website:

If you got to the contacts page http://cfsg.org/contact.html any of the people there will be happy to help, no doubt. -
