Violin Repair?
Anyone know someone in Park Slope who could repair a violin and re-string it?

I'm sure there's someone in Brooklyn that can do it, but most of the violin repair shops are in Manhattan. Gregory Wylie is excellent.

wow , so random. I was just going to make this same post. I have two violins under my bed, stopped playing about 4 years ago after nearly 17 years of playing. I really miss it and am wicked rusty and need to get those babies out, fixed up and to start practicing again. let me know if you find a place that is good!

i've had my violin repaired at the General Music Store on Court Street. They did a good job and were quick about it.
