Marching band?

I was out in the backyard earlier this evening and heard a marching band practicing. Any idea where it was coming from. Sounded like it could have been Rodgers or Bedford?

I've also seen high school bands practicing, albeit a bit deeper into Crown Heights than Rogers or Bedford Avenues. The exact location escapes me, but I think it was around Troy Avenue - several years back, I watched a HS band practice and they were amazing, especially the drummers.

You're probably hearing the band from WEB DuBois HS. They are on Eastern Parkway between Bedford and Rogers. They practice in the early evenings up and down the parkway. They are actually pretty good.

Yes, I heard them too and the music brought me back to highschool football games in Texas. They were close to Bedford and sounded great. It would be fun to know about events they played at to support them as audience members.

Homecoming is sometime this month, so the should either have a mini parade or a huge game. Not sure of the date though.
