I'm not finding anything on starting new forums...why is there no Windsor Terrace/Kensington/Ditmas forum? Can we have one?

  • I'd love a WT forum
  • Hi, everybody. Guess this is my cue to make an announcement...

The short story is that we are now partnering with Brownstoner/Brooklyn Record:

    http://brownstoner.com/brownstoner/archives/2006/10/brooklyniancom.html

As part of that plan, I think we're going to merge some of the Brownstoner boards with these boards, so a WT board is definitely in the works!

Please be patient, though. We're currently strategizing how best to do this. If you know something about phpBB and databases and would like to chime in on that, please send me a PM.
  • To Our Posters,

This is a great day for Brooklynian. The merger with Brownstoner/Brooklyn Record provides us an unprecedented opportunity to scale our reach in the borough and increase the diversity of experience and perspective contained in our combined user base.

The Executive Team is committed to keeping you informed as we move towards this exciting period in our history. A management restructuring plan will be announced later this month, after which personnel reviews will be conducted in order to determine which posters will be made redundant as a result of the merger. We will make every effort to contact those posters through PM in a timely manner and guide these posters in finding another position in the merged board structure or somewhere else on the Internets.

    Sincerely,
