Did you lose your dog?

<<Dear friends,
I found a lost dog this morning in Park Slope. She is very small, old, I think a Lhasa Apso.
Very sweet, just a little unsure, understandably. She has no collar and isn't micro-chipped.
The vet nearest where she was found didn't recognize her.
I posted on Craigs List and am printing up flyers this afternoon to post around the
neighborhood, in stores and in pet places. If anyone can help in any way; help me put up
flyers around Brooklyn, call shelters, or use any connections to animal associations
(Michael I'm looking at you!) or neighborhood associates that they can email, I would really
appreciate it.
Hopefully her owner will turn up soon and this will just be an unhappy incident in her
otherwise happy life. She was groomed and is very trusting so hopefully she just got out of
a yard and is desperately missed. If no one claims her I would love to find her a new home
as the last thing I want to do is bring her to a shelter.
At the very least please forward this email around to your own list. Maybe there's a Lhasa
Apso lover on there.
She has been fed and bathed, I can keep her for a few days but am going away next
weekend and don't really want a second. Micky and I are calling her Minnie for now... >>
