Cops seeking Franklin Shuttle mugger

THE NEW YORK CITY POLICE DEPARTMENT IS ASKING THE PUBLIC'S ASSISTANCE IN IDENTIFYING THE SUSPECT WANTED F0R A ROBBERY AT THE PARK PLACE "S" SUBWAY STATION, NORTHEAST CORNER OF FRANKLIN AVE AND PARK PL, WITHIN THE CONFINES OF THE 77 PCT. DETAILS ARE AS FOLLOWS:

ON THURSDAY 12-13-08 THE SUSPECT, A M/B LATE TEENS, APPROACHED THE VICTIM, A M/B/18, FROM BEHIND AND GRABBED HIM DEMANDING HIS PROPERTY. THE SUSPECT THEN REMOVED THE VICTIM'S PROPERTY AND FLED THE LOCATION. THERE WERE NO REPORTED INJURIES.

SUSPECT:

M/B/17-20, 5'7" - 5'9" WEARING A BLACK 8 BALL JACKET

ANYONE WITH INFORMATION IN REGARDS TO THIS ROBBERY IS ASKED TO CALL THE NYPD'S CRIMESTOPPERS HOTLINE AT 800-577-TIPS.

There was nothing in the NYPD report about time of day. The mugging took place on a Thursday, which makes me suspect after school (4-ish), but that's just a guess.

The flyer in the subway said the mugging happened at 1:45 am.
