what constitutes the heirarchy of neighborhoods on the board

Dailyheights' whim. PH was first, PS next, then CH. As posting volume picked up on the PS board, it was moved to the first spot, even though it has never even approached the total volume of PH posts (at this point the rate is about even). I've argued many times for PH board to take its rightful place at the head of the list, but to no avail. :evil:

Hmm. okay, thanks for the explanation. i don't think i ever stopped to think about it before, but i just happened to be looking today at post totals on each board and i realized the rankings on the front page did not seem to have anything to do with activity.
