Brewshop soft opening on Washington today!

Bitter and Esters, formerly known as City Brewshop, will be soft-opening today. They'll be open from 12-8 at 700 Washington Avenue between Prospect and St. Marks. The guys will have home brewing kits and ingredients for sale. Come by and explore home brewing and get a look at what John and Doug have been working so hard on. These are neighborhood guys pursuing a dream, so get out and show them some support!

There were previously mentioned in this thread: http://brooklynian.com/forum/prospect-heights/new-homebrew-shop-coming-to-washington-avenue

and have gotten some good press lately:

    Bump!

Several years later, this shop for home brewing supplies appears thriving.

However, the building it occupies is for sale:

  • They do KILLER business. We go probably twice a week now, it's always full and the two owners always have time to talk, chat, and help out. Amazing dudes. And now they refill CO2 tanks - no more taking a day off from work to refill a tank at a local welding shop! Hope it works out for them through the sale.
