10:20ish PM, what the hell was that noise over park slope? jets? fireworks? alien attack? After 10 minutes i started getting worried...

    Thanks for this. That was starting to weird me out a little last night. It sounded like fireworks, but I couldn't imagine who would set off fireworks to celebrate tax day Tuesday - in near zero visibility no less.

    Dont worry about your taxes, even though they never go to pay for fireworks.

    We heard what sounded like explosions in Brooklyn, NYC from about 10:15 - 10:20PM.  Then came hail...

    I heard some more of it again just now. That would be just my luck for the world to end on a Friday.

    I expect the end of the world to be preceded by a fireworks display, so it could be both.  
  • Everything precedes the end of the world.
