Dean St @ Kingston Ave — Brooklynian

Dean St @ Kingston Ave

I may be looking for a residence around this neighborhood, but I'm not too sure about the area. Could anyone help me out with a description please ?

  • Before I take a stab at describing the immediate area, I'm interested in what kind of residence you are considering.

Are you looking to rent or own?

    Are you young or old?

How much money are they asking?

    How large is the space?

    Where do you live now?

Such answers will help me to opine on whether this may be a good area for you.
  • Im young, a college student. My rent is being paid for its an apartment.I am looking to be a nanny in that area. I live out east on Long Island currently, but I'm very familiar with the boroughs.
  • Great place to get into while it lasts. Seems some nice restaurants are opening there and there is the historic Brower park to enjoy.  This area is changing steadily to more village-like setting. Nice positive that Kingston traffic darws from EP and not Atlantic.  Everything along Dean is fine.
  • okay thanks !!
  • Am I correctly inferring that marron95 will be a live in Nanny, who occupies an apartment within the host family's home?

Regardless, I agree with Dawndew. The area is getting a lot more child friendly, and you could spend countless hours with the munchkin at the Children's Museum in Brower Park.

If you cross Eastern Parkway, there are a bunch of places on Kingston that will welcome strollers while they serve you a Kosher lunch.
