Hate the bus lane on Nostrand? Get ready for SBS Utica. The B46

Now, with the redesign, if one somehow gets the chance to move any faster than 25mph, nope; it is taken way.
Good deal. More of that in this city, please. -
I do wonder whether making Utica a Slow Zone before it becomes a SBS route will make the next transition easier: Buses only.
Many cities have large swaths of their downtown designated for buses but not cars. [This can be seen in Downtown Brooklyn at the Fulton Mall].
...It would not surprise me if the areas around big intersections (such as EP and Utica) eventually received similar designations. -
the removal of the parked cars LF on Rogers to accomodate the bus lane on the RT makes the sidewalks dangerous as cars travel very fast within a foot of pedestrians(kids) waiting to cross. I have to get my daughter to step back all the time. Narrow sidewalks are not a good combination with this new system of bus lanes. will the DOT consider widening sidewalks if necessary? i think not till something happens..... Nostrand Ave is this way too when the southbound side is no parking: cars soar around near the curb.

That's DOT "progress" for you, Dawndew.

ssssshhhh, the SBS buses are going to spurn development along the corridors.Without more buses, the areas accessible by train will become so expensive that more people will start living in Westchester, NJ and LI because it is preferable.
This isn't about people who presently live along the lines. -
I noticed that SBS lanes don't apply to MOS. Last week I was driving down Rogers, some guy was driving next to me in the SBS lane. Cop pulls the guy over. About three minutes later, the same guy goes blasting by me doing about 50 down Rogers so I'm figuring he showed his badge and they let him go on his merry way. As usual, some people are above the law. By the way, he was in a Honda, not an unmarked unit.

Some people support the lanes for reasons other than the official ones stated.

While I am in favor of making Utice a SBS route, I think that anyone who believes that these listening sessions won't be used as proof that the B46 SBS is needed is a little naive:
