Looking for a good handyman — Brooklynian

Looking for a good handyman

I live in a small building with 6 units. We have some small repairs that we need from time to time and could use someone who knows basic plumbing, basic electrical, could do regular maintenance on our boilers (I think this is called bleeding or something) and other general things.

Right now, we're looking to get a new washer/dryer and need someone who could attach the hoses to the pipes. Seems like a relatively simple job for someone who knows what they're doing. We're looking for someone who won't cheat us. We have projects for the whole building and then would use him for repairs etc in our individual apartments.

Any suggestions?

I asked a highly skilled contractor (whom I've used and trust totally) for a recommendation, and he said

"They should use "Mike the plumber" 7187918396.
He has the best ratings in PS. (Park slope parents blog)
Honest, affordable, just a good guy."
