It is my pleasure to announce that the location and time of the Fall 2014 Brooklynian Gathering has been selected.
G Lee's BBQ at 813 Nostrand.
Tuesday, October 28th at 7PM.

Lurkers should know that we are all good looking, and that I will likely make mindless chatter on this thread periodically to shamelessly promote the event. -

As of today, this event has:
25 rsvps and 28 maybes from the residents of the Jewish Hospital
10 rsvps and 6 maybes from my Facebook invite.
Around 5 people who told me on the street they saw it on Brooklynian and are coming.
So, I estimate that between 5 and 25 people will actually show up. The mid summer gathering had similar interest and we had around 15.
The BBQ place isn't huge, so I'll warn them we are coming a few days beforehand.
Please note that they can easily accommodate 25 people who show up and want to drink, but I doubt their kitchen can handle it if we all order dinner and expect to be served quickly.

I expect to be there. Hope to get re-acquainted with folks I met at the previous gathering, and meet others at this one. The food sounds great so will probably eat there, but won't be too demanding about service!

The winter gathering (aka Festivus) will be held in a few months at The Classon.
The owner of The Classon also owns Amorina, and has brought us lots of free pizza from Amorina to prior Festivus'.
This year we will spend some $ there...
