Time Warner Cable (Ugh)--Any Deals?
Sooner or later I'm going to get a TV (it's been awhile since I've had one) and I'm even thinking of splurging on cable. Anyone know what the cheapest Time Warner cable is and how much it is?
I know there is the triple play deal, but I dont need/want digital phone. Did some research and found a $39.99 package for 3 months of cable w dvr, hdtv, 250 channels, etc. (You can only get this online). Problem is the price skyrockets after this. Btw, I got my Road Runner for $29.99 for 6 months via an online deal like this, but had to pull teeth to get it.
Just wondering if anyone else knows of any deals. Or if someone has just standard cable what they pay for it. The website has no pricing info for standard cable. Seems obvious that they just want you to pick a more expensive package.
Thx for any input.

Subject: Depends
It appears you can live without much TV, since you have not had one for some time.
The best deal with TWC is to get their basic service and connect it directly into your TV, no cable box or remote from them. This way, you pay about $15 per month, taxes included. You get the basic channels - granted, they show up in a mixed lineup, but is a question of adaptation.
W/box and remote, the price goes up by around twelve dollars per month. -
The basic package offers not much more than what you can pick from the air with a half-decent antenna. If you want Roadrunner, though, the best way is to get it with a cable subscription.
