240 Utica (at St. John's) to become a Kennedy Fried Chicken and Pizza? — Brooklynian

240 Utica (at St. John's) to become a Kennedy Fried Chicken and Pizza?

While Kennedy Fried Chicken outlets are rapidly disappearing in western Crown Heights, preliminary sources indicate that eastern Crown Heights is about to get a new one:

aka 1430 St John's

This franchise may not be on the decline, just merely moving east.

  • There's also one on Schenectady between Lincoln and EP. The one you're writing about is two doors south of the deli on Utica and it's open already.

    Did it just open?

How old is my information source?
  • Been open about a week or two. I pass by in the morning. They also sell roti and rice. Don't think they're Halal, or at least it's not stated on the awning. Was the old Ack Ack II store as there were three. The original deli, what became the fried chicken place and two doors west of the deli was # III.

Roti, rice, fried chicken and pizza.

    I assume burgers as well.

    No seafood?
    No tacos?
    Gyros?
  • I'm sure they have the gyros and the usual whiting and fried shrimp.

    Excellent.

I don't know why the foodie magazines didn't cover this opening.image
