A map of the development happening in PLG — Brooklynian

A map of the development happening in PLG

Regular readers are aware while new developments are still be created in western Crown Heights, most of "our" vacant lots and wooden houses have already been built on. "We" are now in the stage where we are building additional floors onto brownstoners, or adding extensions into the backyards. Our large vacant lots are being converted into large residential buildings.

Now, the real action in in PLG. They are just now entering the stage that western CH was in in -say- 2010.

The Q at Parkside published this map of everything that is going on in the area today:

The writer seems amazed at the pace of development: http://theqatparkside.blogspot.com/2015/04/new-development-sprouting-like-balloons.html

For now, it is only constrainted by the end of the 2 train: Brooklyn College.

  • i was wondering about this map! 770 Flatbush, as far as i know, has no current plans. last i heard it was merely for sale...which i don't think should qualify as "development"
