Yummy Taco is actually pretty decent to me. Their food is full of flavor and just nicely done. Now, its probably not all that good for you and its not the most authentic, but that's another subject. I've been eating there since before they closed their location on Flatbush (now home to the Doughnut Plant, which is also very good).

I like Xochitl Taqueria as well, though LA Burrito is not so great in my view.

Buka in Clinton Hill on Fulton (a Nigerian restaurant not far from Crown Heights border) is also pretty good, but they aren't the most consistent. At times their Jollof Rice will taste burnt (I guess that's when they are getting toward the end of the pot, so make sure to come early when the batch is still fresh!) and the goat meat isn't always the most tender. As is Bed Stuy Fish Fry, one block away from Buka; their service isn't the greatest, though.

    I agree with these thoughts.
