Rachel has discovered a bar is being constructed:

In her article, she states it will open this summer, but that is by no means certain.

Locals, we are talking about the storefront with no awning.

It is literally next door to Branch Office, which is now located in the storefront to the left that used to feature the yellow awning:

However, nothing is yet on file with SLA for that address:

FYI, the SLA does not look kindly on summons for unlicensed operation when you have not yet applied.

I've been walking by this place for months, and have seen who I assume to be the owner in there (it's the same guy each time). It seems the renovation/build have been at a standstill for many months — semi-finished bar, empty shelves, strange seating, some TV's, etc. I haven't seen it in a week or two, but that's how it was at the beginning of June.

Also, I didn't realize he had his place in Park Slope before. http://www.timeout.com/newyork/bars/wild-whiskey-warthog-1#tab_panel_2 I'd walk by there on the way to Fourth Ave Pub when I lived on St. John's and 5th.
