Helicopter hovering low EP bet Wash & Franklin for past 20 mins...Any clues?

I was wondering too. One was hovering over Eastern Parkway West of Washington as well.

No clue. For past 15 mins hovered low at EP & Classon, then suddenly disappeared a minute ago. Curious.

Was just hovering again... Seems like over president between Classon and Franklin

About 10 police cars and an ambulance came speeding up my block around this time. Something big must have gone down.

I am on Prospect and New York ave. but I think they were just driving through. They sped West towards Nostrand/Franklin

Neither reports this particular excitement.

The DN article doesn't seem to list any shootings in the Franklin/EP area.
Maybe the helicopter was on its way to one of the shootings. -
Nah it was sitting there for at least as long as it took to smoke a cigarette. Not even circling.

A DNA reporter who lives in the area states the helicopter on August 8th seems to stem from the NYPD chasing some kids.
