When I walked by, burritos were $9. So, you can likely get a good estimate of prices by adding $1 to the prices on their truck menu.

This place was packed with people under 30 when I walked by tonight.

Because Ms Whynot and I enjoyed our 20s, we ate here this weekend. We could not help but notice that the price points, layout, etc are very similar to Kimchi Taco.

The food was good, and others seem to agree: This place has been filled since it opened, everytime I walk by between 1 PM and 11PM.

Paper was down briefly yesterday. Saw lettering on the storefront about booze and wine.

For those not aware, the church at 729 Franklin complained when now-closed Guyaoco requested a beer license.

...so, I expect that having a wine and liquor store next door should REALLY upset them.

Why did the church get so upset don't they know that the music they play bothers the business next-door too. I was eating at guayaco a while back there they played the drums so loud that I couldn't enjoy my meal.

The church will probably be less upset about the wine and liquor store since consumption won't be happening on site. If I had to guess, it's less about the wine (after all Jesus was known to bring some to get the party started), and more about the possibility of having drunk patrons walking past them when services were occurring.

There are actually two storefront churches in this immediate area:

Starting on the left, we have Gospel Tabernacle Church at 725 Franklin. These folks have the drum set mentioned by @Ckobus

Then we had Lily and Fig, which became Guyaco and which quickly closed, and its seems can't become Ramen because of some building issue. 727 Franklin

Then we have the Straightway Church of God in Christ. These folks oppose alcohol. 729 Franklin

Then, we have the place that is now a wine and liquor store, 731 Franklin.

Then we have Domo Taco, 733 Franklin. It serves beer and wine.

Used to live next door to the Straightway Church folks, and I have to say, they are great neighbors. I can understand why they didn't want another place serving beer on the block, where the pastor also lives (above the church, I believe). Liquor store is probably less of an issue (no late-night noise, and as you said, not consumed onsite). The quality of life on that little stretch of Franklin shifted incredibly in a few short years and for those that have been there a long time, it was hard to not get wistful about being able to leave your windows open at night and (no joke) hear crickets.

Domo is at 733. The provided link is for 673... not sure what's there off the top of my head
