exterior brownstone repair
Trying to get the front of our brownstone redone---it's already been painted. How long does a paint job last, and anyone have recommendations for someone to do it?
Getting it re-brownstoned would cost about 40,00$!!!

Look at brownstoner.com, and ramble through the forum section.
Painting is not the thing to do. Look around the city and you'll see the many peeling brownstones in the area. Unless the surface is prepared just right, it will be a mess of peeling, faded paint very, very soon.
Painting a brownstone doesn't make sense because of the type of rock brownstone is, plus our moist and corrosive climate.
