You might be able to order them through Home Depot.

Brownstoner has a good list of salvage places, too.
I saw some last week in a dumpster, so keep your eyes open around renovations . . . :roll:

(relatively short ones - not the 80 or 90 inches of most parlor floor windows) -

If you talking of the original interior wood shutters it can be hard to find the right size, let alone type of wood. Those shutters were basically a custom job back when these homes were made. I have found shutters for my place, but believe me - it was a multi-year search.
