Group Aggressive men soliciting signatures on the corner of Franklin & Lincoln Place
Hello All! I've been noticing that there has been a group of young men on the corner of Franklin & Lincoln Place trying to get passersby to sign clipboards with their personal information , it is clear that they have no positive intent behind collecting this information. They're very aggressive & intimidating often times trying to shame you into signing, by following you and shoving the clipboard in your face. There used to be heavy police presence along the Franklin Ave train station. Where have they gone ? Today is Thanksgiving and this is the third time this month I've seen them out there. Has anyone else experienced this and what do you suggest members within the community to do ?

You would think with all the reporters reading this it would make news, but it hasn't. Sad.

I've noticed the young men soliciting. I've never seen them be aggressive or threatening. When I've been approached, I simply say no thank you. Please explain why you believe there is ill intent.

I just shake my head with a firm "no". What aggressiveness? What "shaming"?

Well since you guys are so curious in passively aggressively knowing my train of thought let me ease your curiosity. I've been living in this community all my life ever since this area has become predominately white the demographic of crime has evolved from blatant gun violence to more petty theft & scams because they think the new residents have money. When I say that they are aggressive I was told that "If I was white you would sign this sheet." I witnessed an elderly woman told one of them to move out her pathway & he told her she needed to shut up & take her ass inside the store. I have the feeling you guys are trying to passive aggressively turn my post into something & I wont have it cause at the end of the day they're manipulators. They dont care if you're blue, green, white, yellow they're looking for the opportunity to take your money.goldemi1 said:I just shake my head with a firm "no". What aggressiveness? What "shaming"? -
