Butcher / fishmonger? — Brooklynian

Butcher / fishmonger?

Anyone know of a good butcher / fishmonger in the area? Something with decent cuts, seafood as well would be a huge plus!

Yup - I'm virtually always there early on Saturday, but I do like to pick up something on, say, a Tuesday evening for that night.

Thanks for the responses so far, guys.
  • There's a great butcher shop right outside the 2/3 stop at Clark St in Brooklyn Heights. It's a quick jaunt from the Atlantic Ave. station.
  • Picked up steaks at Pathmark last week - surprisingly good. Bring your granny cart, though - you'll walk out with more than you planned on.

Also picked up some sole from the fish guy at the green market. Very good, delicate fillets.

If you're a radish fan, the radishes the (stoned looking) guy sells are out of this world.
