Alternate side rules near N 11 and Kent? — Brooklynian

Alternate side rules near N 11 and Kent?

Does anyone know these? Or a website where I can find them? I'm interested in parking my car in this hood and taking the L to work.

Any comments on the L? I don't take it too much but I've heard some mixed reviews.

  • to clarify- I have the calendar of when rules don't apply... I'm asking if there's street cleaning twice a week like the slope, or a damn four times a week like the heights, or what.

    Thanks.
  • you will never get a space there because it fills up with the workers for the factories in that industrial area, and they get there EARLY. unless you are getting to work at 7 in the morning forget about getting a space.

but to answer your question, yes, there is alternate side. some blocks are mixed with overnight/day. the overnight is 12-3 generally. but you will not get there early enough to get a legit space. there are also plenty of people who live nearby who are taking spaces too.

as for comments on the L, if you don't mind waiting three trains before you can squeeze yourself onto it, not a problem.
  • It is possible, don't mind the last guy. I would always park by N 9th and Kent around 9 am and usually find a spot. Also if you want to wait until 9:30 you can park right on Driggs and N7 as the alternate side stops at 9:30 so its not really an issue. But you might have to squeeze a bit in the L train but I think its worth it.

    Good Luck
