know any good salons in Brownstone Brooklyn
I'm a fairly recent Brooklyn transplant (2 years) and I'm sick of traipsing into manhattan for facials, wax etc - anyone have any good suggestions??

I like Il Camelion on Seventh Avenue between 8th and 9th Streets. It's an Aveda concept salon. -

I've been going to Element Beauty Lounge, 73 Fifth Avenue. (718.398.2969)
I think they're great...amazing mani/pedis but also many other services. I've done lash tinting (so hard to find!) and waxing, but I know they've got great products for facials etc.
Also, try d'mai spa: 157 Fifth Ave. 718.398.2100 for facials, massages etc.
And, I haven't been, but SAGE, which only does bodywork: facials & massages. It's also on that Fifth Avenue strip:

In Fort Greene, there's also Cynergy, which does great massages.
