Netflix deliveries 'lost'?

Subject: Netflix deliveries 'lost'?

Is anyone else having problems receiving Netflix deliveries? I know they are evil, taking their time occassionally to send out the next DVD, but my latest DVD got 'lost' in the mail twice, the replacement one too.

I've had problems receiving 'interesting' looking envelopes from the DMV, foreign consulate in NY and foreign shipments as well. If they do arrive, it's with great delays and sometimes rifled.

It would be great to hear if anyone has any similar experiences or any mail problems in PS recently. Thanks in advance for your input!

  • i had some problems ages ago, but no more.

    but.

i did hear that there have been problems in places where postal workers watch the movies:

i am convinced that this is why my copy of the bourne identity never arrived.
  • someone in my building had the same issue w/ postal workers watching them. she notified netflix and her post office and the issue worked itself out eventually.
  • my friend lost half his netflix movies due to mail man. they got the mail man lol. but only after like half a year.
  • I had no problem with movies being delivered, but I canceled my Netflix, because I could not watch them on my DVD player. A blue screen came on when I played the movies and was going on and off- only Netflix movies, not other ones.
    Anybody had this experience???
  • I canceled Netflix because they were "throttling" my account because I was watching/returning movies too quickly. Am using Blockbuster now, but I don't like supporting them (they censor movies). Amazon is supposed to come out with a service soon. When they do, I'll give them a try.
  • Flexi, if you tend to watch more indie flicks than big blockbusters, you might want to look into GreenCine. One of my coworkers uses it and really likes it.

I just checked them out, thanks. I'll keep them as an option. I like that they do porn too

Ooh, I didn't realize that -- NOW I know why my coworker likes it so much!

They have all KINDS of porn - boy/girl, girl/girl, boy/boy....something for everyone!
  • Subject: Blockbuster Online

I use Blockbuster online as well. They have a plan for $6 a month which gives you two mail delivered movies and two in-store movies. I use the in-store movie coupons for impulse rentals at the Blockbuster on 5th and 15th. Blockbusteronline has a good selection of movies...lots of indies and documentaries, and they ship from Flushing or Manhattan, so it only takes me a day to get the movie I want.

Not a bad deal for $5.99!!
