pottery.... proudly made in Crown Heights, Brooklyn

If anyone is looking for pottery or custom made ceramics and would like to get it from a neighborhood potter, please check out www.iriartepottery.com
Proudly made in Crown Heights, Brooklyn. I work out of a studio in my house on Hampton Pl. So, check out the website and send me an email if you'd like to come by and have a look at some pieces or email with any questions. I can make custom dishware sets for practically the price of "made in china".
Thanks!

  • Just checked out your website -- nice stuff! I particularly like the "Calada" and "Lineal" series. Should people just contact you directly about pricing? Do you sell at any local business or art fairs?
  • Very nice stuff!

(insert standard disclaimer about being a broke-ass who has no business buying pottery right now)
  • Hi!
Yeah, if you see a piece you like just note which piece and email me at [email protected] . I can email back to give you an idea on the pricing and availability as not all the pieces are available still (the site also serves as portfolio). Likewise, we could arrange for a visit to the studio here and I could show you in person. If there is something you like and its not available, I could always recreate the piece. Being handmade, it would vary slightly from the sample.
Unfortunately, the pottery is not in any local stores yet. Trying to get this off the ground while holding on to my day job! If anyone has any suggestions of local merchants you think may be intereste, please let me know!
    Thanks!
  • Great stuff! I will get in touch, but would rather wait after I move. Somehow, I have the feeling pottery would not benfit from being schlepped back and forth too much!
Lovely desings, interesting stuff, thanks for posting!
