Has anyone had any experience with Brooklyn Veterinary Hospital (411 Vanderbilt, Fort Green)? ER services and/or regular appointment hours?

I happend to take my cats there because my brother in law is the vet tech there and my husband's cousin is the receptionist there. I have been very impressed with the doctors there. Dr. Burns is very good but I really like the woman vet they have there (sorry her name escapes me at the moment). I really like her "bedside" manner as well as her thought process when treating your pet. Im not too sure how much of an "emergency" they can handle - they are not a 24 hour-type hospital. If you want any more info - I will be glad to help ya!

These are terrific people. They will place orders for special pet food for you, answer questions,

all the vets (Burns, Aker, Farmer) are kind and patient. The receptionists/technicians are efficient and friendly. They do not have late-night hours, but in case of emergency, try AmbuVet: www.ambuvet.com. I have never had a situation where I had to use them, but it was comforting to know such a service exists.
