can anyone recommend a dog walker? — Brooklynian

can anyone recommend a dog walker?

anonymous
edited November -1 in Prospect Heights
We are moving into the neighborhood (very excited) and we need to find a good dog walker. We have 2 gentle giants that need some mid-day exercise. One is older, and we need someone who is patient. Does anyone use a dog walker they would recommend?

we are moving into Prospect Heights--onto Prospect Place. I am guessing a dog walker would service any of the neighborhoods around that, but wanted to be more specific:) thanks.
  • Hi, and welcome to the neighborhood... This came up once before and someone recommended a place on Fulton:

  • Housebroken, the shop on the corner of Vanderbilt and Bergen {718-622-0600} also has a popular dogwalking service, used by dozens of dogs in the neighborhood. Call Vivian for info.
  • Doggie daycare at St Johns and 4th avenue at Brooklyn Dog House - they will also pick up and drop off your dog, and they offer a sibling discount. Its a whole-day thing, but they rock. Boarding too.

They have been walking my dogs for four years now... highly recommended.

They charge per walk, not per dog AND you get a discount when you buy 10-30 walks in advance...

    Good luck!
