Where can I get a nice birthday cake in Prospect Heights/ Park Slope, serving about 15 people? Prices, locations? I'm also okay with the supermarket kinds. Thank you!

supermarket types, I'd try Pathmark and/or the Key Foods on 5th ave and Sterling. Bakeries -- I think Joyce does tarts and tortes, but not sure about cake.

    Good luck!
  • The Met Food on Vanderbilt and Park Place makes b-day cakes. You should also check out Cousin John's on 7th Ave by Lincoln , which is decent and Two Little Red Hens on 8thAve by 12th Street, which is great but pricey. If you want to go where the former natives of Prospect Heights went to check out Mrs. Maxwell's on Atlantic by Pennsylvania.

Hi. Yes, Joyce does whole cakes. She made a variety of them for our wedding and they were all amazing.
