What do you think of Park Pl. bt. Wash & underhill block
I'm thinking of moving to that block from south slope. I'm not that familiar with Prospect Height. Can anyone give me an overview of the area and how much is the rent for 700 sq.ft. 2 BR. apartment around that block.
thank you in advance[/b][/b]

  • Its a fine block. Nice, quiet, tree-lined. But a 2-bdrm apartment that is 700 sq feet? Are you serious? My 1 bdrm is bigger than that. I hope you have the measurements wrong.
  • I have a one bedroom which is 245 square feet. It is the tiniest thing ever, but absolutely liveable. 700 sq feet isn't bad compared to that!

In any case, I have no idea how much your rent should be. I live between Park and Prospect on Washington. Mine is rent stabilized and 1,100 which seems pretty absurd but I also have renovations, windows in every room of the apt (4 room apt), dishwasher, beautiful view (Of the block trees behind the block you are looking to move onto!)

In any case, that block is really beautiful!
  • we have a 2 bedroom 700 sq ft apt. it's all about the layout. however, we own, so i can't comment on rent.
  • Indeed, it is about the layout.

I've got 3 real bedrooms in 900 sf, and I own.
  • Nice block.
  • Agreed. Very nice and quiet block.
  • check out the house on the north side of the block with two huge stone lions on the stoop

    this site is awesome!
  • thank you guys. That's very helpful. Does it mean that the rent in PH averagely much lower than good part of south slope or in Ft. Green/Clinton Hill? what about safty? Washington Ave. looks a bit sketchy to me.

My 2-bedroom is 500 square feet.

Neato (and it tells me I seem to have a good deal) but I'm not sure how useful it is since as we've seen, number of bedrooms and square footage don't exactly correlate ...
